All About Us
Green Grazing Farm operates with a pure passion for the land. We strive to improve the health of our soil with the belief that the benefits will trickle down. Our soil health benefits will increase the health of our livestock, profits, and re-invigorate rural communities.
We operate just to the south of the lovely village of Arrowwood on a mixed grain and livestock farm. The farm consists of rolling hills, a valley with a creek running through year round, and multiple springs coming from the hillsides.
We acknowledge that we are located on Treaty 7 territory, traditional land of the Blackfoot Confederacy.

Our goal is to put as much carbon into our soils as possible. By increasing our soil carbon we are able to have a negative carbon footprint and increase drought resiliency through increased water holding capacity. We are able to do this by having living roots in our crop land for as long as we are able during the growing season. Also we utilize intensive grazing practices to create healthier pastures with stronger root systems that pump stable carbon into the soil.
